The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

The contact owns a 2026 Lucid Air. The contact stated that the heating system failed to blow hot air as intended. The contact stated that upon engaging the windshield wipers, the windshield wipers failed to engage or disengage automatically as needed, which required the contact to continuously press the windshield wiper button. Additionally, while charging the vehicle at a dealer charging station, the message "Unable to Authenticate - Please Take the Plug out and Plug in Again" was displayed. The contact was unable to disconnect the charging cord after several attempts. Technicians at the dealer attempted to disconnect the charging cord, but the attempts were unsuccessful. The manufacturer was contacted and advised to engage the charging cord emergency release and to reboot the computer software. The contact and the technicians followed the instructions; however, the charging cord could not be released. The vehicle remained parked at the dealer's charging station. The contact stated that the failure had occurred in extremely cold weather. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and several complaints were filed; however, no further assistance was provided. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 6,062.

"Great Service Experience (King of Prussia, PA) *Executive Summary* * Fantastic service experience for an unexpected issue, everything was smooth and free with outstanding customer service all the way. * Soooo happy to get back to the Air after driving the Audi, which was inferior in so many ways. Granted it's half the price of the Air, but...yeccch. * Air was returned to me not only well-repaired, but washed and cleaned both inside and out. *TL;DR Version* My experience with the King of Prussia (KofP) location for both Sales (December 2025) and Service was stellar. My 2026 Air Touring has been working great for the past few months, but as I was heading out on a road trip on Friday at 3pm, it suddenly started losing power for a second, then regaining it, then losing it again, and acting similarly weird during regen braking. It reminded me of when I almost ran out of gas one time in my good old '96 Toyota Supra, kind of like a "bucking" sensation. I could reboot the Air and it would be good...until I accelerated quickly or got up above 70, then the issue was triggered and persisted until the next reboot. No errors showed anywhere though. I called Lucid national support and they ran me through the stuff that I'd already done, and then recommended that I take it to service. They asked if I could safely drive to King of Prussia and I said yep, since I was only about a half-hour away and as long as I kept it below 70 and didn't floor it, it was fine (although he said that if I doubted that, or experienced any issues on the way there, to pull over in a safe spot and they'd s"

"Roadtrip with My Motorhead Nephew So last week my nephew and his wife came down to visit us in the Carolinas. Nephew Tom is a dyed-in-the-wool car fan and self-proclaimed motorhead. He's the kind of guy who can look at a classic car and tell you the make, model, and what year it came out, based on things like trim pieces and tail lights. Tom has a love of American muscle cars, but is also pretty clear eyed about their limitations. Tom was a fuel hauler back in the day and now teaches semi drivers how to do it safely. Tom has been EV curious ever since we told him we were expecting delivery of the Lucid Gravity in December. Well... last week Tom got a chance to ride in it for a few hours, get a full review of its features from yours truly, and test drive it in all three modes. He was, to put it mildly, blown away by the Lucid Gravity and how it manages to be a performance car, a luxury car, an economy car, a cargo hauling monster, and does it silently and efficiently. On our trip to Seagrove Tom took all of these pictures to share with some buddies back home. Efficiency 3.11 and about $9.32 to drive \~250 miles. Thanks to the Lucid Air Pure AWD owner who hung out in the parking lot to greet us as his "Lucid cousins". He's officially my first in-the-wild meet & greet. Special thanks to my nephew Tom for being as excited about this car as I am. This is my first EV and I took a chance on it. It felt good to hear it from a guy who is way more into the history of cars than I am. He said it felt like a car from the future."

Better native software stability and new features like CarPlay and Android Auto have been worth the wait, but now we need EV route charging added to them. "I did a factory reset … and now it’s running MS DOS 😂. Just kidding but it’s scary how we’re supposed to trust lucid EVs (software defined vehicles; dream drive, adaptive cruise control etc) but even simpler software is so buggy? Version numbers are typically hard coded characters in the software build, weird they can mess something as basic as that. Anyway, I love my Air so far, awesome for my family and my software issues have been moderate. Lucid hardware engineering videos from Peter Rawlinson are the main reason I went with Lucid. Does anyone know WHY lucid software engineering sucks?"

"Joint the Gravity family Transitioned from Tesla Model Y to Lucid Air Pure last May, and from Tesla Model X to Lucid Gravity Touring today. The drive was sooooo much smoother and quieter. Tried the driver assist on highway, can feel some swirling on the highway but I shouldn’t compare anyone’s driver assist feature to FSD… Removed the aero covers and put in the stealth nuts and cover on my 21/22, don’t know how much impact on range but it looks much better. Car was updated to 3.5.1 this morning before delivery, so I had the latest and greatest software from the beginning. Haven’t had any issues so far. Car was produced all the way back in October 2025. Ordered on 3/7, was told that delivery was going to happen in a week, but it was delayed to today (3/22) because of the back seat issue. Last but not least, no Homelink in a 100k+ vehicle, seriously?"

"Factory Reset - Now shows old software version I purchased a 2024 Lucid Air Touring last week. Yesterday, Lucid completed the ownership change. I decided to perform a factory reset since I now had access to do so. Everything went smoothly, but now the car and app are stating they are on software version 1.1.4. Now I know this isn't true because I have all the features that came out since then (Android Auto, Hands Free Driving, Lane Change Assist, Nav Updates, etc) and they are all working as intended. The only place things seem to be missing are from the app, which is probably due to it thinking the car is on 1.1.4 when it is not. Has anyone else encountered this? What did you do?"
