1st incident vehicle lost power while operating. No way to operate hazard lights, steering and control goes dead and wipers come on continuously. 2nd incident car was returned from dealership. 15 minutes into the drive on a busy highway in Minneapolis car began to replicate similar issues. No power, no hazard lights, SOS call button is inoperable as well.

"Volvo one pedal drive is good! Switching from a Tesla Model 3. Landed on the Volvo EX40, after testing Kia EV6, BYD Sealion and Skoda Enyaq Just sharing recent test driving and buying experience, since I occasionally find posts like this helpful when Googling. We've been driving a Tesla Model 3 for the last 4 years, and we've been wanting something a bit spacious, with less small annoyances. With the warranty expiring, and Musk is doing his best to be repulsive, this seemed like a good time to look for a new ride. Initially I narrowed down the choices of mid size AWD SUV to three cars of roughly similar size and pricing: Kia EV6, BYD Sealion 7 and Skoda Enyaq, and scheduled a test drive for all of them. All of them seemed like pretty nice cars with their own strengths * EV6 had great physical controls for damn near everything, nice and comfortable ride * Sealion 7 had a supremely comfortable and quality feel interior, but the driving assists/warnings were obnoxious * Enyaq was boring in a good way. Comfortable ride, big trunk, intuitive and reliable door handle design * All of them also had nice road noise isolation and decent suspension, much better than Tesla at least But ultimately after the test drives, both me and my wife realized this actually boils down to one pedal driving for us. We've gotten so used to it over the last four years, that anything else feels wrong and kind of uncontrolled at this point. Both the Sealion and Enyaq had very weak regen braking even at the maximum setting, so to quote my wife "I hate driving this!" I know OPD isn't everyone's cup"

BEV share grew strongly year on year (YoY), while PHEV share dipped slightly. Overall Q1 auto volume was 61,960 units, down some 2% YoY. The Volvo EX40 was the best-selling BEV in Q1. EVs Take 64.9% Share In Sweden 2026 Q1 auto sales saw combined plugin EVs take 64.9% share in Sweden, with full electrics (BEVs) at 40.7% and plugin hybrids (PHEVs) at 24.1%. Such a silly, simple thing but so necessary when rushing around trying to get to appointments on time. The time in the middle is also too small to glance at easily while driving. "When I took delivery of my car the software it came with was fine. No known bugs, no issues with it at all. I would have been happy to stick with that version of the software for my entire ownership period of the car. However, this latest (or previous now) version is buggy for me. I have this interior lighting issue and it rears its head every single time I use the car (I mainly use it late afternoon and evening.) So to not be able to update to the new version is a significant issue. I'm already peeved that Volvo took this long to get a fix out and I'm certainly not paying a dealer to fix my car within the warranty period.
