Dash completely turned off. We could not see speed, gear, battery life, etc. See attached photo of the dash board above the steering wheel. Tried turning car off and on, tried resetting the monitor. Dealership service advisor witnessed this. The technician could not replicate it, and they did not have a solution but it is now back on. Worried it may happen again, opened up a buy back claim but dealership thinks we don’t have a strong case since they couldn’t find anything.

Summary: My 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT has repeatedly experienced a complete and unexpected loss of propulsion while driving in active traffic. Each time, the vehicle displayed a red “Stop Safely Now” warning with additional critical alerts, followed by an immediate loss of forward motion with no prior indication. This left the vehicle stalled in traffic and created a significant safety hazard. Details of Each Incident: While driving under normal conditions or coming to a stop, the vehicle triggered the red “Stop Safely Now” alert with powertrain and brake warnings. Propulsion shut down instantly and the vehicle locked in Park, leaving it immobilized in traffic lane. I had to exit the vehicle and wait for it to complete a full power-down cycle before it would restart. After restarting, the vehicle operated with reduced functionality and limited range. Ford Roadside Assistance was contacted for every incident. Safety Concern: A sudden loss of forward motion in moving traffic poses a serious crash risk to me and to other drivers. The repeated nature of this failure suggests a defect in the propulsion system, sensors, electrical components or related modules. Current Status: The vehicle is now at the local Ford dealership for evaluation. I have also notified Ford Corporate Customer Care. The root cause has not yet been identified or resolved. Requested Action: I request that NHTSA document this complaint and consider further review due to the recurring safety-related failure and the potential risk to other owners.

I traded in my vehicle and purchased a new vehicle on September 27, 2025. After signing the contract, I was informed that there were two recalls on the vehicle that would be taken care of by the end of the day. I was allowed to use my trade-in as a loaner vehicle until the end of the day when I came back. It has been almost a full month and I still have not received possession of my new vehicle. There is no estimated date of the dealership receiving the part to repair the recall. I was told that things haven’t been the same since Covid so nobody knows how long it will take. I have been able to use my trade-in, which was paid off by the dealership, as a loaner, but I want my new vehicle or I want to know my options for looking for another car. I will be making my second payment on my new vehicle, which I have not had, in one day.

The Dealer sold me the car which is on recalls he sold this car to me on Saturday October 11th till date he didn’t give me my car there is recall campaigns needing VIN-specific checks on it it is parking Rod something he is not giving update. I noticed that I kept receiving a low tire pressure warning on my car. I would have it filled and then a few days later, the warning appeared again. I took the car in to the dealership to let them know there is an issue with my tire on 11/24/2025. The dealership then stated that I had to pay for a replacement tire. I asked if there was any type of warranty on the tire as I have only had the vehicle for a few months. They stated I had to purchase a new tire. I do not feel that I should pay for a defected tire. I have not driven the vehicle due to safety and want help in resolving this issue as the defect should be covered.

"Such a sad day So I’d like to present my very first photos with my 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Select AWD. I want to say that I only had the vehicle for maybe 3 months. Here’s what happened: I got a call from the Ford dealership (local) that they found a Mach-E for me around the price I was looking to pay. The only thing was that they wanted to make sure I was ready to put a down payment on it immediately because they had to purchase it from another dealership. Once I gave my okay, the same day they purchased the vehicle was the same day I put in my down payment and signed the paperwork and drove off with the vehicle. I wish I knew then what I only know just more recently, which was that the vehicle itself was a lemon. I wish on that day I had immediately asked for the CarFax and had made sure everything was good. The first week I had it, I didn’t really notice anything wrong with it. I was loving it and driving around as much as I could. Then about a month in I started to notice some electrical issues and connection issues with my devices. I took it to the dealership and they had it for a moment but they ultimately just updated it and said it should be good. The other thing was that it was suppose to have the Ford Blue Cruise on it as it’s what they told me was added to it. The fact is, it didn’t, and when they tried to manually put in the software (because the vehicle already had the hardware for it), it just wasn’t sticking. A few weeks later, I go to put something in the back of the car and I notice an earthy smell. I lift up the platform in the back and discover MOLD growing. To make matters worse, I got an email with the CarFax. When I opened it, let me tell you how absolutely shocked I was to find out that the vehicle had actually been in a major front end collision before where ALL airbags deployed. I take this information and everything to the dealership who end up actually shocked and inform me that the dealer they bought it from never disclosed any of this information. Now I did do my part in contacting multiple lawyers, however, the cheapest one I found wanted a $5k retainer (which I didn’t have). I decided to just work with the dealership as they are(were) a reputable dealership. They end up taking the vehicle in promising to fix everything that’s either broken or needs to be repaired. Three weeks later, they inform me that they just want to buy back the vehicle the exact price I paid for it and give me my down payment back because they found out that because of the prior accident it had, it was never properly fixed and so any time it rained or if I took it to a car wash, it was getting inside the inside of the car (behind panels) and because of that noticed about $10k worth of damage including corroded electrical (explains the electrical issues). I ended up taking them up on their offer and they paid off my vehicle loan plus interest and gave me back my down payment (well, most of it). I’m so sad y’all,"

"5 weeks in the shop (No diagnoisis) *Update now 11 weeks* Update 02/11/2025 In 2 days this will be 11 weeks in the shop. It has been over 3 weeks with no response from Ford engineering. The local tech has reached out to the field service engineer (FSE) Sergio 8 times in the last 3 weeks and the handful of responses were that they still have not heard back from engineering. About 3 weeks ago the tech recieved a "break out box" that is supposed to allow them to monitor all car systems and simotaniously detach one module at a time. This process proved inconclusive and there is still no diagnoises on what the problem is. I did ask for a printout of the work order from the dealership for my records. This did remind me that my car is in for 2 items that I indicated and 1 that the dealership found. CS : "Electrical system drain - service required" displayed CS : "Eye-Tracking/bluecruise not working" and the fun surprise 3. Coolant low in both resvoirs. At this point nothing has been diagnoised and zero progress has been made. I requested, with Dorene from Ford, to resubmit another buyback request on my behalf and to indicate that I'm looking for a buyback because it is under warranty and it can not be fixed. I doubt this will go anywhere but I'm grasping at straws at this point. Also spoke with the local Service Manager. He thinks it is a software issue and that Ford doesn't know how to fix it. I told him about the buyback request getting denied and then submitting another. He requested Dorene's e-mail and he is going to reach out to his regional ford contact, "who is many levels above the woman you spoke to" and see if he can help push for a buyback as well. I spoke with a lemon law attorney as well and they indicated that I do have a case and they could move forward but their firm would only be going after financial compensation and expectations were 3-5k. If I was looking for a buyback or starting a lawsuit to get more from Ford they could refer me to another firm that could help me with that. They did let me know that with everything they've been working on lately Ford is fighting extremely hard to not buy back any electric vehicles or Broncos. They told me that they really dug their heels in within the last 3-6 months and it seems like a high level policy decision within Ford. I'd be happy with any suggestions on how to move forward at this point. Ford is incompetent and dragging their heels in regards to my vehicle and I feel like it's leaving me no options. **End Update** UPDATE 01/09/2025. 6 weeks in the shop today. No progress has been made since my original post. Our vehicle is a 2022' Ford Mustang Mach E GT Performance Edition that was purchased used in April of 2024 with ~4k miles from a dealership in Ohio and we had it shipped to Florida. "Signed Lease for Ford Mustang Mach-E but No Delivery Due to Recall – Paying for a Car I Don’t Have. Hey everyone, hoping for some advice. I signed a lease for a **2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E** on **June 20, 2025** through a dealership in Washington. The car was under an **active recall** at the time (which I found out after signing), and I was told verbally it would be delivered by June 27. As of today (June 24), **I still don’t have the car**. The problem: * My **lease payments have already started** (first payment processed as part of signing day payment - I have given zero downpayment though, only registration charges and first month lease included) * The lease is held by **Ford Motor Credit.** * I’m now **paying around $500/month** for a car I don’t even have yet * I’m also spending **money on a rental car weekly** just to get around The dealer says they’re waiting on Ford due to the recall, but that’s not helping me financially. I’m not sure if I should just wait until June 27, but this is starting to feel really unfair.
